She started Dancing at 5 And also took Acting And Singing Lessons. At 10 she won a Contest Drawing a Model for a Plane. Later she Participated to 'Graines De Star' Performing Axelle Red's 'Ma Prière' And winning twice. The red-haired singer Mylène Farmer chose Alizée as her protégée And the girl's debut single 'Moi... Lolita' released in 2000 on Universal/Polydor sold more than 1 million Copies in France.
Her first album Gourmandises Written by Farmer And composed by Laurent Boutonnat has been Certified Platinum with 350000 Copies sold in 3 Months.
