Paulina Grew up Travelling Because of her Mother Famous Actress Susana Dosamantes. By the Time She was 7 Years Old she knew She Wanted to be a Singer. She Studied Dancing/Singing at El Centro de Capacitacion de Televisa. Later she was a Member of Teen Pop Sensation Timbiriche Along with Thalia. Timbiriche Made them Both Famous. Paulina left Timbiriche in 1990 After being a Part of it for 11 Years. She Wanted to Make her own Music. Paulina's First Album 'La Chica Dorada' was very Successful. It Included no. 1 Singles 'Mio' & 'Amor De Mujer'. The Second Album '23 Kilates' was Certified Gold & it had Hits Like 'Nieva Nieva' & 'Asunto De Doas'. Other Albums Included 'El Tiempo Es Oro' {1994} & 'Planeta Paulina' {1995}. She Also had Little Parts in Telenovelas.Unlike many kids who Grow up Dreaming of Stardom Singer Paulina Rubio Didn't have to Wait for Adulthood to Get her First Taste of Fame. By the Time She Was ten Rubio the Daughter of Mexican Film Star Susana Dosamantes was Part of the Children's Group Timbiriche. A Decade Later her Solo Debut La Chica Dorada {1991} was Released by EMI Generating the Breakthrough hit 'Mío.' Three More EMI Albums Followed -- 23 Kilates {1992} Tiempo Es Oro {1995} & Planeta Paulina {1995}  None Nearly as Successful as her debut. Though by this point She had Become a Recognizable Face on the Latin pop scene it wasn't until 2001 When her Debut Album for Universal Paulina was Issued that she Began to get Recognition Stateside Hitting Number one on the Billboard Latin Chart & Earning Latin Grammy Nominations Success that was only Augmented with the Subsequent Releases Pau-Latina {2003} & An&a {2005}. Her First English Language Record Border Girl {2003} was her Only Stumble After Moving from EMI to Universal.
