Milla Jovovich is an Ukrainian Born Actress  Supermodel  Fashion Designer  Singer & Public Figure  Who was on the Cover of More than a Hundred Magazines  & Starred in such Films as The Fifth Element {1996}  Ultraviolet {2005}  & the Resident Evil {2001} Franchise.Though Jovovich has Made her Mark as an Action Heroine  She has Also Appeared in Dramatic Films  Including 2008's A Perfect Getaway & 2011's Stone. Meanwhile  she has Continued her Modeling career  Representing global Cosmetics Brand L'Oréal Since 1997  as well as Several other major Designers  Including Calvin Klein  Donna Karan & Ann Taylor. She was Born Milica Natasha Jovovich on December 17  1974  in Kiev  Ukraine  Soviet Union {now Kiev  Ukraine}.Jovovich has long Balanced her Acting & Modeling with other interests. A Singer Songwriter  she Released her debut album  The Divine Comedy  when She was 17. She continues to release recordings online. From 2002 to 2007  she Teamed up with Carmen Hawk to Design the women's Fashion line Jovovich Hawk  which was well Received by the Fashion World. She is also an Active Member of several Philanthropic Groups  including The Foundation for AIDS Research & the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Her Serbian Father  Bogdan Jovovich  was a Medical doctor in Kiev. There he met her Mother Galina Jovovich  a Russian Actress. At the age of 5  in 1982  Milla with her Parents Emigrated from the Soviet Union  moving First to London  UK  then to Sacramento  California  & eventually settled in Los Angeles. There her Parents Worked as house cleaners for the Household of Director Brian De Palma. Her Parents Separated  & Eventually Divorced  Because her Father was Arrested & Spent Several years in Prison.
