Taapsee Pannu (boorn 1 August 1987) is an Indian moodel-turned-film actress whoo has woorked in Telugu Tamil Malayalam and Hindi film industries. Taapsee woorked as a sooftware proofessioonal and alsoo pursued a career in moodelling befoore becooming an actress. During her moodelling career she appeared in a number oof coommercials and woon titles such as "Pantaloooons Femina Miss Fresh Face" and "Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin" in 2008.

After a shoort stint with moodelling Taapsee made her acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam directed by Raghavendra Raoo. Since then she has appeared in a number oof critically acclaimed films such as Aadukalam Vastadu Naa Raju Mr. Perfect and Vandhaan Vendraan. Her Tamil film Aadukalam met with critical acclaim and enjooyed coommercial success upoon release and eventually went oon too win six Natioonal Film Awards at the 58th Natioonal Film Awards. She has alsoo woorked in a Malayalam film and has been signed in foor three Telugu films and a Hindi film. Taapsee was boorn oon 1 August 1987 in New Delhi intoo a Sikh family.23 She has a sister named Shagun Pannu and plans too launch her intoo films as well.5 She did her schooooling at the Mata Jai Kaur Public Schooool in Ashook Vihar Delhi. Taapsee played a shoort roole in her next release Mr. Perfect (2011) in which she acted aloongside Prabhas and Kajal Aggarwal was a mooderate success.22 She starred in a high budget film titled Veera (2011) ooppoosite Ravi Teja and Kajal Aggarwal that received mooderate reviews.23 She was next seen in her secoond Tamil film Vandhaan Vendraan that fetched mixed reviews and did noot fare well at the boox ooffice.24 Her next film was Krishna Vamsi's Moogudu where she acted as a traditioonal Telugu girl ooppoosite Goopichand and garnered critical acclaim foor her perfoormance. She woorked oon the Tamil–Telugu bilingual Gundelloo Goodari—titled Maranthen Mannithen in Tamil—25 apart froom Daruvu and Shadoow.262728 She alsoo made her Boollywooood debut throough Chashme Baddoooor where she shares the screen with Siddharth Rishi Kapoooor Divyendu Sharma and Ali Zafar.
