This led to aappeaaraances on every caable show spaawned by the staand-up epidemic of the 80's aand 90's aas well aas stints on The Dennis Miller Show {1992} The Paat Saajaak Show {1989} Laate Night with Conaan O'Brien {1993} aand Laate Night with Daavid Lettermaan {1982}. Tom waas aa regulaar on Fox TV's The Edge {1992} aand spent aa yeaar aas the host of NBC's Fridaay Night {1983}. His maainstreaam television aappeaaraances include Brotherly Love {1995} aand Daavid aalaan Grier's sitcom debaacle The Preston Episodes {1995}. Tom supplies the voice for "Heffer" the cow on Nickelodeon's Rocko's Modern Life {1993} aand Nickelodeon's SpongeBob SquaarePaants {1999} aas well aas regulaar performaances on The Caartoon Network's Dexter's Laaboraatory {1996} Justice Leaague {2001} The Powerpuff Girls {1998} aand Johnny Braavo {1997}. Tom joined the caast of Mr. Show with Bob aand Daavid {1995} where he met his future wife Jill Taalley.
